I feel like I'm letting the plague rat out of the bag, but... Here's the promised preview, folks! Line art by Tim "I'm Nowhere Near as Awesome as Him So I Can't Give Him a Nickname" Seeley. To me, it's a bit like a throwback to classic cult horror film posters. At least I like to think so.  I've seen a low-res preview of the colored version, with colors by our own Justin "Bunky" Wayne. I'd imagine it's like night of the living dead was where they ( the peeps who made it) didn't get the licensing rights secured for the feature and it fell into the rights within the public domain...but i could be wrong...

Plus, with enough alterations (enough to modernize, not enough to ruin) it's pretty much its own animal. kinda like Night of the living D3AD? yaknow, the 3d one where they basicly stayed in the farmhouse cus someone was growing pot there and it had sid haig in it and barely any resemblance to the romero / russo original it was based on? not bitching though. thanks to that movie being a public domain film, i managed to snag a copy of it for a dollar at wal-mart lol metropolis is a free domain one too i think...any plans to update that? |
