It is a real turtle shell....I didn't kill a turtle -I don't believe in killing animals- I found it in the woods and thought "hey....."
Its 2WD, and not all that fast. It sure gets people watching though.

I've got an LED light-up skull for the front, I just haven't put it on yet. I think it was a Pirates of the Caribbean keychain out of a cereal box. I also have a rear wing off of a toy to mount on it. Hmmmm..a TMNT head would look nice.....
Codpiece, eh? I can honestly say I never thought of putting my junk in a reptile carcass and wearing it, but that's just me. LOL. Also, it is a little small. I did bleach it out before drilling holes for the body mounts and adding the decals.

meh. can't tell the scale fom the picture but yeah. a turtle codpiece would be pretty cool. after it's been cleaned and sanitised and fixed up ofcourse. yaknow, put a lining in it, bling it out a bit...paint in blue with tons of spikes coming out of it and slap some wings on it's sides...
i understand what ya mean though about the size thing cus yeah, cods are alot like cups in that they should encompass the entirity and what not without causing bunching and what not....maybe a decorative covering at most for cosplay or outer wear...
