It was everything wrong with super-hero films, mixed with everyhing wrong with fantasy films.

same here. the first one was good though. i had heard rumoure of someone making a film adaptation of the goon as well.......should be interesting to see...if they do it right.

I think Elijah would do great in a role where he was a meth head or crack addict or something. I mean it was like they super glued his eyes open to make them bigger.

sean astin, thou, who played sam, i think could do it. he's got bilbo's more rounded look, and bilbo was a simple minded fellow. not dumb, but not real complex. kindda like sam. bilbo was also a reluctant hero, but dedicated once he put his mind to it. again, like sam.

well yeah but unlike sam....bilbo wasn't a power top...........
