many states frown upon peanut shell (beanie) helmets...Protruding cow horns and giant metal spikes and all that jazz...
though it's perfectly okay to sell them and own them, they are illegal to use while riding.
Nothing louder than original equipment is illegal as well!

oh, and any kind of blue light is a real BIG no no. Does not matter if it is off.
